Introduction
As a UX-UI designer in Smartcommerce company, I was asked to design screens that would appear when end users would be carting from a client's website through one of our products. Those pages would only appear when the end user would select a retailer that requires to log-in to complete the purchase.
The design process
The carting process is a painful point and having to log-in before making the purchase makes it even more time consuming.
That's why, in order to alleviate this annoying but obligatory step, in this case I decided to include in my designs some small illustrations in order to make the interface more friendly .
I also have developed the climate metaphor in order to make the error / validation system more easily identifiable and pleasant.
